hey, I just picked up the new modified mag(one of the only ones I would trust) and I guess with the way we set up our fuel system by limiting map voltage it automaticly bumps timing 10 degrees when you injectors are trimmed 40%. just be careful and listen very carefully for knock

Thanks, I already know that you get full advance on boost with the VAFC,
I hate that, but without being able to control timing independently there's not much we can do about it, Hondata here we come!

Erik, Do you mean that Hondata is OBD1? Sorry, still new to the ITR game, coming from a DSM background.....

Has anyone tried using the Apex'I ITC in conjunction with the VAFC?

Naw man OBD1 is the ECU that comes outta the older Honda cars (like I have a 94-97 GSR ECU) with less sensors. Hondata is a program that allows engine management which is ran through an OBD1 ECU.

I never thought about a ITC but it might work. I know the DSM guys love it but I think the best bet is a BTM if you don't go hondata or power FC. I am switching to a 12:1 FMU and missing link on the 450s with no BTM. on that set up with race gas the guys at inline pro trapped at 128mph on stock internals so I am goin to give that a shot till the end of the summer

You must be running a lot of boost to need that much fuel, I run 440s with vafc and no FMU with a modified stock regulator to bring the fuel pressure down, and have too much fuel at 8.5 psi, I can't imagine having the FMU, I'd have gasoline squirting out of the tailpipe. Tell me more about your setup.
