hey guys what kind of timing are you guys runnin. I don't have the cash for a BTM and am gettin slight detonation at high RPM's. my EGT's are about 850 C at redline in 3rd and AF ratio is like 10:1 so it has to be timing.

 

My timing is stock, I got the MSD btm for free, but it's set at 0, I only use it for the capacitive discharge feature. I've tried messing with the btm, the car sputters and falls on it's face, I've also played with distributor timing. All the settings are and have been factory stock for 2.5 years boosted. It just runs the best that way for me. I run 94 octane fuel exclusively, that helps, the big injectors help too. With stock injectors and FMU I had detonation above 7 psi. Not now.
