I've heard that this is normal for LSD transmissions... what is the best LSD lubricant I can put in my tranny, and where do I go to get some... I've heard that differnet oils reduce this ticking noice, what LSD fluid do you use?

actually I was posting for a friend... maybe it was his CV joint cause I know he just broke one recently...haven't heard of him complain since he put a new CV in..

Anyhow, what's the best LSD fluid to use... My motor should be here sometime this week and I'd like to have everything ready for the install on Sat. I was thinking Redline Full Synthetic LSD Fluid? Any opinions?

I am assuming it is a stock ITR lsd? The best fluid to use is HONDA MTF.
I've used others, but get synchro grind, with HONDA MTF, virtually all synchro grind is gone, and the lsd is functioning fine as well.

Redline MTL if not carefully ordered with the LSD lubricant additive (and even then) is often bad for Honda transmissions with LSD's.
