Stickier tires.........

 

Okay, here's the tough question. What type of tires would you consider using? Man, there's a shit load of tire's out there I wouldn't even know where to start. :twisted:

In any case, for a reasonable amout of $$$ , TOYO RA-1 will eliminate lotsa wheelspin associated with non-R- compound tires. But as also previously stated......considerable wear........but who cares about wear when it hooks up!

 

I installed my z10 today, unfortunately it interferes with my Moroso oil pan, I will probably have to fab up some new brackets for the radius arm to change the angle. Give me your e-mail address if you want me to send you pics.

 

Finally it's March and I'm driving the teg again. The Z10 setup is fantastic. The launch is so damn hard, it's hard to believe. I need to adjust the preload still, the car pulls to one side a little bit. There is also a slight interference issue with the left rod touching my Moroso oil pan under certain conditions. Contrary to what I said in previous posts, I may put urethane engine mounts on this car, even though they are very harsh. This might eliminate some of the contact the rod is making with the oil pan, or I might machine a recess into the rod, I will post whatever I end up doing.
