is the 5zigen fireball catback loud on a gs-r even with a silencer. i have never heard one before. i dont want a real ricey exhaust but alittle isnt to bad. thanks

 

Any canister style exhaust (including the Fireball) is going to be loud, although generally the silencers will make them sound reasonable. Silencers also get stolen a lot and look kind of stupid.

If you want a more reasonable sounding exhaust I suggest looking into something like a GReddy SP2 or Tanabe Super Hyper Medalion.

 

i used to have 5 zigen fireball on my gsr it sounded terrible,very loud and obnoxious raspy, the worst exhaust ever, i currently have greddy sp, sounds great,very satisfied.

 

my buddy used to have 5Zigen fireball on, but he get really piss of that thing...

 

I have a 5 Zigen on my car now and it's not my favorite exhaust that I've owned, but it's not that bad. It only gets loud when you really get on it. It has a nice deep tone for just normal driving and sounds good in the car...it does however sound a little raspy from behind, but that's the other guys problem since I'm in the lead huh? My next exhaust will be the Greddy EVO2.
