You can fix the problem by running a stock fuel pump, pressure regulator, and rail. You don't need that stuff on a car with just bolt-ons and "tuning" it is not going to make you any power. The stock stuff is going to work better. Don't drop a bunch of money doing more mods to correct the problems you made by getting mods you don't need in the first place.

Mr Fats, are you saying tuning a stock car with a VAFC or other similar tool won't make power?

98teggs, Mr Fats is right you need to not try and fix problesm cause by mods that didn't make power and were not warranted in the first place.

Mike nailed it. These fuel system mods are not warranted by the minimal modifications you have installed. I hope you kept your original fuel pump, regulator and rail. I'd revert back to the stock components; I bet it'll solve your problem.

Mainly I was saying "tuning" in terms of adding a bunch of stuff to the fuel system like has been done in this case.

I'll try and use simpler language.

The aftermarket regulator and pump are not needed at this time, given the minor amount of modifications made to your motor. My suggestion to you is to buy a stock fuel rail, pump and regulator and revert back to a 100% stock fueling system.

In the long run, I'd do some serious research as to what kind of budget you have, what power level you want from your Integra, and to what degree you can risk having an engine give out on you. Then you can determine when or if the aftermarket fuel system mods will be appropriate.

The AEM regulator is not stock. You want a stock regulator. It doesn't matter if you had the problem before you switched the pump. You should go back to stock fuel system components.

The only time you need to upgrade any of these things is if you're going to be running higher flow rate injectors to go with a turbo and you need to supply those injectors with enough fuel. You don't have a turbo, so you don't need these things.

The stock fuel system is more than up to the task of providing fuel to the stock fuel injectors. Throwing a bunch of aftermarket stuff in there while still using the stock injectors is only going to mess things up.
