removing steering wheel- HELP!

Default removing steering wheel- HELP!

how do I remove the steering wheel? i have to remove it - just the wheel itself. not the column.

take the plastic covers off each side
you can see that there is a bolt on each side, but you have to use a star tool to remove them
remove the yellow wiring clip for the SRS/airbag.

That's about it.

kool. so after i remove the SRS airbags, i can see the screws or whatever to take off and get the wheel off?

If the 3G Integra has a wheel like a 5G Civic, which it should, after you remove the airbag there is a large nut that holds the wheel on. Undo that, and you can sometimes pull the wheel off by hand. If not, you need a harmonic balancer/steering wheel puller.

Remove center pad of steering wheel.
Remove steering wheel shaft nut.
Remove steering wheel by rocking it slightly from side to side and pulling back steadily.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque steering wheel shaft nut to 36 ft. lbs.
