Neuspeed Race springs will kill the ride on a G2. It has way less suspension travel than the G3 and the spring rates are way stiffer than you will ever need.
The way the fenders are shaped on the G2, the drop with the Eibach Prokit looks just about perfect. Any spring that claims the same lowering front/rear tends to make the car look a bit droopy in back.
