I currently have a 95 4dr gsr, but my brother and are have been looking into buyin a used integra or eclipse to sort of make into a project car, and modify it as best as possible.

We are lookin for 96ish tegs and eclipses for about 4,000. Both have about 140 hp, and 130 torque (when new), but we are not sure which car is best stock, and which will give us the best performance once we throw 4 more thousand into them. So basically, should we buy a 4,000 teg and throw 4 more into her? or buy a 4,000 eclipse and throw 4 mroe into her?

 

The only Eclipse worth buying is one that comes with a turbo.

if the eclipse isnt turbo, its not worth it........if u get an integra...try to get a gsr

 

Turbo eclipse = gst or gsx
Non turbo = rs or gs

 

i agree... and another thing.... eclipses are notourious for there trannys craping out... id stay away from them

 

but they do go extremely fast with not a lot of money

 

and so do most other cars..

 

Throwing money into a nonturbo DSM is like throwing money straight into the garbage.

The Integra will be faster. It is lighter and nimbler.
