Default Suspension help

if i put springs in my gs-r do i need to replace my rear shocks. i know the front have to be changed but ive heard the back might not. thanks

if you're going to do it i think it should be done properly, invest the money and do it all at once, dont wait for the rear ones to give out before changing them

you dont "need" to, but might as well and save yourself the installation time and hassle. plus itll ride and perform better anyway.

splurge and get teins all around they're like 700 bucks now, back when i bought them they retailed for well over 1k, luckily i had them shipped from hk, best investment i ever made on the car

just do it all, all at once. trust me...it makes it much easier than going back again and doing all the crap again.

changing the springs doesnt FORCE you to change the shocks in the front, and leave the rear. it is just in your best interest to change them all at once. the combination of stiffer and shorter springs will make your shocks absorb like poo in no time. changing them all at once saves you time and money. dont forget the alignment right afterwards. and if you decide to keep a good amount of negative camber, dont forget to rotate your tires often.
