Default Sorta know what works........

I've had my 2000 ITR for about 6 months now and it's been stock since. The snow is slowly melting and the modding bug is beginning to bite. So far I've acquired some tires(Falken Azenis), and Project Mu(Titan Kai) front brake pads to be installed for the first HPDE or the year, comming up in my area. It's also armed with a compustar 2-way alarm. I defintaly want to mod my drivetrain next with JDM FD, Exedy organic clutch/lightweight flywheel.

Anyways, I've been researching what mods work for this car to give it a little extra power and was just wondering what kind of hp these parts will be yeilding when all put together.

Toda Header
Spoon N1 muffler
Spoon B-pipe
Comptech icebox w/ K&N dropin

Tuned with Hondata S200

Does anyone have a similar setup??? Can I expect about 180 whp?? Also, would you guys consider Hondata overkill for these mods? I'm pretty happy with the stock power already and just want to eventually add these boltons. Some Dyno sheets would be nice if anyone has any.

BTW, this car will be used for daily driving, auto-x, and maybe about 2-3 lapping days a year.

Thanks

On a dynojet you could get more power than that. Personally I'd probably use an SMSP header instead, but the Toda is nice (Hytech also). Also, I'd suggest some decent cam gears to adjust overlap. I'd also suggest against the Exedy, results vary but a lot of them tend to fail (the exedy whores will say it's installer error, even though some of those exedy whores had some fail  )

Yeah, the local tuning shop here has a dynapak, is it possible to see 190 whp??? Anyways I was thinking of SMSP or Hytech, but I don't know if I can wait that long for a header from them, but they do look like nice pieces(both physically and on the dyno). I read all about the exedy scandal on h-t so I also have my eye on ACT, we'll see. I just don't get how their clutches can be that bad if they are the OEM manufacturer. Doesn't exedy make the ACT pressure plates anyways? Thanks for the suggestion on the cam gears, almost forgot about that.

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but I added some other options to your list that you might want to investigate, and which will probably yield a better benefit for the money. With regard to the clutch, I have indeed read of a few problems with the organic, although my suggestion regardless would be the cerametallic version. We installed one on my brother's car along with a CM flywheel, and it performs quite well (though it is a bit noisy). With the above setup, and the cam sprockets that Dave mentioned, ~180 whp should be attainable.

I can agree SMSP is good but from the comparisons we have seen Toda makes the same power. Go with what you want. I'd say if tuned well on a Dynojet you will see about 185 whp out of your modes. Maybe even slightly more. With Cams 190 is easy. Dynapak reads higher than dynojet IIRC so 185 is still a good goal.
