a few quick questions for anyone who feels like responding,
1. does anyone make galvanized stainless steel exhaust parts?

2. What in your opinion is the best material for header/exhaust?

3. off topic is 75$ a good price for NEW aem short ram?

thank you for being here HAN, I have learned alot here and through the informative links some have posted and intend to keep learning.

1. No, the zinc plating in galvanized steel would burn off over time, hence the nickel alloys used in "mild steel"- that help slow rusting dramatically, but don't effectively prevent it.

2. Stainless steel is very durable, much more so than "mild steel" in terms of rust prevention, and is used in the majority of high-end headers and catbacks.

3. That price isn't too bad, IMO. But I'm not familar with the MSRP on that intake..h:

 And thank you for being a part of HAN.

Just to repeat: stainless is the way to go when selecting exhaust components. Titanium works too but it's really expensive...I probably wouldn't bother with something that exotic on a Honda.
