Default getting exhaust

should I get 2.25 inch piping or 2.5? I'm going to get DC headers for a 92-93 GS-R a few months later so I was wondering which size is compatible with the DC headers. Anyone know?

Well, what are your goals in terms of HP figures? People who usually do the typical intake/header/exhaust and some change combo will be just fine with 2.25".

In about a year, I plan on having i/h/e, pullies, CTR cams, ITR intake manifold...etc. lots of engine work.

i doubt i'd go FI. do you still think 2.25 would be fine?

You might as well go 2.5" if you plan on doing some moderate-heavy n/a work. I can smell you're likely wanting an JDM ITR header, am I right?

not sure on the headers yet, i was thinking about DC, but I haven't really studied the header info. i just know that was size piping i use on the exhaust is going to affect what kind of header i buy, or i'll end up buying exhaust all over again.

Go for the 2.5 if your looking to go the FI route.
