Default Noob Wit Qs

Whats going on guys I got refered to this site to get my GSR info.
I plan on going to the dark side so to speak. But I wanna know what eggzactly can be done to the intergra. Such as proven combos and non such.
Also whats the best years to start wit. What engines can be swapped in. And so on all those newb questions I need to get schooled on Majorly. considering I am coming from the domestic side.
But i just happen to like how the 4 eye intergra looks. I wanna have a respectable import. So if theres any sites threads and etc that can help me learn the integra and how it works that would be great

Thanks in Advance

team-integra.net  if u decide to register just remember to read the guidelines before posting and u'll probably find all your answers in the articles section.

p.s. and don't forget to use the "search" button, u'll get flamed if u don't

If you wanna have the most fun for the cheapest price, get some nice springs and shocks (coilovers would be even better), nice tires (Kuhmo Ecsta MXs are cheap performers), axxis brake pads and brembo rotors w/ SS brake lines, comptech rear tie and sway bar, intake, header, high-flow cat, exhaust, and if you can afford it, a Quaife LSD... you'd be awesomely set

From there you can spend your money on engine work and a turbo, but that'll be a pretty penny.

Especially by the moderators there. But they do have good articles.

My view on team-integra.net: lots of articles, DIY, information, etc. They won't answer a question if covered... and you get flamed, ranted, and owned by the mods and admins... overall... I give it a rating of 5 out of 1-10.

Here, buy these books, read them. They are fantastic resources for determining what is possible with your DC chassis Integra and the B-series motors in general. IMO, it is crucial to set a budget for your improvements, and then stick to it. And the best tools for setting your budget are these books.

1) Honda & Acura Performance Handbook, by Mike Ancas. MBI Publishing, 1999.
ISBN: 0-7603-0669-9

2) High Perfomance Honda Builder's Handbook, Volume Two, by Joe Pettitt. Car-Tech, Inc, 1999.
ISBN: 1-8840-8938-0

3) Honda / Acura Engine Performanc, by Mike Kojima. PenguinPutnam, 2002.
ISBN: 1-5578-8384-X

Each of these are about $20.00. At the least, check them out of the library and give them a cursory glance...each author takes a unique tack on the wide world of Honda / Acura tuning.

Ancas covers the whole spectrum of mods, at the expense of some detail.

Pettitt is very thorough, focusing on chassis setup, functional aero, tire tech and FWD drag performance.

Kojima is one of the best technical writers alive. His book covers every possible motor setup, including hybrids, NA & FI, Nitrous, literally everything. And the info is presented in a truly understandable format.

BTW, lest I forget... Welcome to HAN.

:rick: Well, sort of...kinda.
Only the authors, title and ISBN info.
And the little synopsis of each author. h:
But not all of it. No.

The point is that these really are great books to start out with, when deciding on the path of tuning one wants to follow. I own them all myself, BTW. h:

Next question..:chuckles:
