What is the difference between the Special edition suspensino and regular LS suspension? If it matters, on a 1996. Thanks

"The 1996 Acura Integra 4-door sedan and 2-door coupe are each available in four models: RS, LS, Special Edition and GS-R. Standard safety features include dual airbags, a rear window defroster, front and rear headrests, a rear seat divider, and tinted glass. An anti-lock brake system (ABS) is standard on all models except the RS. Standard features on all models include a 5-speed manual transmission, power windows and mirrors, a tilt steering wheel, rear wiper/washer (coupes only), and a digital clock. The Special Edition model features a leather interior, rear spoiler, and a Performance Handling Package. The GS-R adds a 170-horsepower VTEC 4-cylinder engine."

I thought the special Edition has the GSR suspension (Shocks/Springs/swaybar) and the LS engine.

Meh? Personally, I thought it was an LS with all the dress up of a GS-R...

Hrm... one website mentions it has a thicker rear swaybar... but that's the only site, and it's another one of those "Car review for the masses" website...

Dunno... frankly though... Acura could have called the alloy wheel upgrade the "Performance Handling" package :dunno:

i believe the shocks and springs are the same from RS to GS-R anyway. the sway thickness varied in certain years.

The GSR and the SE/GS have the same suspension. THe LS sedan also has the thicker rear sway bar without the strut tower brace
