reverse/clutch damage
I was letting my little brother drive my car around (not a good move), teaching him how to drive a stick, and he was backin up, but forgot to engage the clutch before shifting to reverse, so of course the car stalled. Do you know of any damage this may have caused? 95 integra gsr
So he ground the gears and did so forcefully that the car stalled... whoa...
Umm... basically though... You might have some more metal shavings in your tranny fluid... and that would be about it....

First off, Welcome to HAN. Enjoy your stay.
Your tranny should be fine. If I recall, reverse uses a stronger straight-cut gearset, as opposed to the helical gearsets for the forward speeds. Plenty sturdy, provided he doesn't make a habit of doing this...
Best way to prevent this is to keep the kid out of the car -- a good policy in any event IMHO.
