Default TEIN Installation Help

Hey guys,

I finally got my TEIN SS's in. I am going to install them myself (with my dad/grandads help). I was looking through the install guide they gave me and noticed that it said I needed to compress the springs to take them off. I do not have a spring compressor, does anyone know where I can get one (autozone, discount auto, etc..?). Also i was told i need to get the factory strut hat off my old suspension? Is this a confirmed stat?

Also any advice on a good setup for riding on the street (ride height and damper) would be greatly appreciated too.

If I am missing anything out of this, please inform me, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
AC

Autozone will rent you the compressor. Full refund when you return it (Loan a tool program).

You WILL need the hat off the old suspension unles you bought pillow ball mounts.
