Hello people. I am a new member.
Is there any one with experience on the GSR inmobilizer system. The car was stolen. The ignition switch was replaced, and rekeyed to use the original key.
This car doesn't start. (Cranks) The alarm wires from the module were cutted from the ECM wires. I think this shorted the ECM.
I suspect the computer.
I will provide more info if you are interested on helping.

****, i thought the new ones with the computer chips were really hard to steal. Whoever stole that knew what they were doing!

 

Yes this car is hard to steal, that's why the owner found it only one block from home.
They problably opened it, pushed it to try to start it and couldn't.

2 things you check your car if no start (just crank)

1. do you get any fuel in ?
2. Do you have spark?

 

yes, l cheked all of that already. What l need is exanples of cases like this
