Default 9 blinks

ok so i checked the code on the ecu with the paperclip method an If i read it correctly there were nine quick blinks what does this mean. I have had the manifold replaced with a skunk 2 and I have a short ram intake, Full catback piping and that is all that I have done to the motor.

I have checked around at a couple of shops and nobody can seem to give me a strait answer on what to do about this. Acura just told me to bring the car in and a couple of shops said it could be my new manifold. If anybody has any ideas besides take it to the shop let me know.

I can't imagine it has anything to do with your manifold.

The cyl.pos. sensor lives in the distributor, & several people have said you can't buy them unless you buy the whole distributor. So you might want to start looking for loose or broken wiring at the distributor, or corrosion in the connections?? Good luck, I hope it's that easy.

When you jumper the SCS connector, the light flashes the code repeatedly. Do you know the difference between a code 9 vs. a code 1 that keeps repeating?

yes there were nine destinct blinks then a big pause then nine more. I checked my friend chilton manual and the distributaor is also were I was told to look so I will begin a process of elimination. I just need to get an ohm meter so I can test the power flow to it. Thanks for the reply, if anybopdy else can help please do so.
