just go to an Autozone. They have the Fluke which can read your car's computa. I did it when my o2 sensor went out. And its free

I do believe its the same for the 5th and 6th gen civics, u take the 2 wire conections and jump it with a piece of wire or a paper clip. turn on the igntion and it will blink

yeah the blue plug dash above the kick panel. Just take a paper clip or wire and connect it, turn on the key, the check engine light will blink, and long blinks equal the 10's (10, 20, 30..) and the short bling equal single numbers (1,2,3..)

I have a brand new o2 sensor for 92-95 civic ex manual tranny if you're interested.

all you need is a freaking paper clip...it is the easiest thing to read codes.

i think my rubber cover is green, just in case you cant find the "blue" one.

and if theres ever a question of long versus short i just record how many total blinks and look at all the possible ones

its usually easy, liek the time i lost my gas cap

is it 24, is it 33, 42, 51, etc... theyre pretty good about not giving too many different ones for the same addition. and its usually pretty obvious what it is. ive done this in a gas station parking lot, its very easy. you need a paper clip and a screwdriver and the keys to your car.
