Default Integra didnt pass smog check (California)

I have a 92 Integra that did not pass the smog check. According the shop I have an after market harmonic balancer is after market and not marked. Would it be easier and cheaper to replace the after market part with a stock one rather to take the after market harmonic balancer and have it marked, and where can I take my car to have the harmonic balancer marked

You chould be able to get that info from the Bureau of Automotive repair. You have to get a smog ref to clear you or get a CARB EO number for the part. So I guess they failed you on the visual inspection?

You'd be better off replacing it with your stock one for the time being.
