What kind of cams for an S/C setup??
I got a 98 GSR with AEM short-ram intake, greddy evo2 cat-back, and DC 4-1 ceramic header. I plan on super-charging down the line, but I want to get some new cam shafts first. I was thinking of some Toda Spec A cams to compliment the supercharger. The car has less than 50K miles on it and has been taken well care of. Any other things I should know before I move on with what I described?

You would be fine with your current cams and some adjustable cam gears.
Mike is right though. The money spent on a SC and Toda Spec A cams could be spent building and tuning a turbo kit to make more power.

ok so it seems like turbo may be cheaper than getting what i mentioned earlier. but i have decided not to go with a turbo set up since i already got my header and i do not feel like backtracking the stuff i've already done. maybe the toda cams are a bit pricey so an alternative option i had in mind was the skunk stage 1s. keep in mind im getting cams first and any other parts i need to make them run good before i move on to forced induction. on another note, my whp goals are around the 220 range daily driver with some punch so a monster turbo set up is more power than what im looking for.
thanks

been there done that
i'd stick with the stock cams as mentioned earlier if you'll be throwing on a sc. the skunk stage 1's you mentioned are more of a NA cam. if you must get some cams, look into the crower turbo/sc grinds.

Relatively short duration and as much lift as you can get. Turbo cams would be ideal, and if there's still too much overlap then just advance intake and retard exhaust till its nice n purdy.
