HmMm? Wuzzat?

Yes, I agree, the stock brake/gas pedals could be a bit closer, but I acclimatized soon enough. You simply need to rotate the heel further.

As opposed to rotating my foot counter-clockwise in my last car, I found I need to rotate clockwise and put the majority of my weight into "heel-ing" the brake. It was a little clunky the first time. h:

Patience, grasshopper.

I got some wide-assed feet and sometimes the lip to the sole of my right shoe gets cought on the underside of the brake when I let off the accelerator.h:

Needless to say heel-toeing for me is next to impossible.

Real heel-toeing is toe on the brake and heel on the gas am I right? My lef/foot could not possibly twist that far, the only way I see it to be possible is to use the heel for the brake and toe for the gas...

I just bought a cheap set of pedals that attach over the pedals using thes two metal bar thingys. I got them as far over as i could and twisted the end over a bit. Cost me like 20 for the pedals and makes heel toeing a lot easier.

I dunno if I could ever trust those clip-over pedals... They have a lot of potential to **** you over at the moment that you need the most control...

I dunno they are on tight. Ive had them for probably 2 years now and never had a problem with them moving or anything even during my "spirited" driving. Just make sure they are tight.

Exactly. I had a bolt-on pair that I attempted to swap over to the DC4 from my GTi. All it took was for the gas pedal plate to break free from its clamp...and get stuck under the bottom of the brake pedal.:eek3:

If this had happened while I was on Panoramic Hwy instead of Hwy 101 in the middle of the afternoon, I probably wouldn't be here today.

I would STRONGLY ADIVSE YOU to use countersunk bolts and Loctite and BOLT YOUR PADS ON. DRILL THROUGH THE STOCK PEDAL and BOLT those fawkers down.

Or learn to do without.
