Default Throttle body spacer

I recently purchased a throttle body spacer from Summit. Well, once i put it on, i got this horrible idle surge. Has anyone installed one of these before? Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with these things? BTW, i have a 94 gsr.

Sound like you have a vacuum leak. Spray some carb cleaner around the spacer and throttle body bet one of the gaskets didn't seal.

throttle body spacers and throttle bodies make no power increases on mildly modified motors, since your engine surges definitely check for a vacuum leak, the only way to make torque on your teg is non-vtec cams or foced induction!
