Yeah, I'd be interested to find out what occurs in court. I've heard of cop's decisions being overturned before... it might happen again.

Example: a driver taking my friend's mom somewhere was hit while a passenger by a speeding soccer mom at about 75 mph in a 50 zone, but faulted for not giving the right of way since she was pulling out of a private driveway onto a major two-lane road. The lawyer did tons of research, called in AAA witnesses, etc. etc. and got the ticket reversed so that the soccer mom got the ticket - since she already had like 5 speeding tickets or warnings for dangerous driving.
