what are you LS guys talking about gas mileage for? GSR's get great gas mileage. How much better does an LS get? 1-2 mpg more?

The GS-R DOES get better milage... around the tune of 3MPG according to Consumer Reports.... but GS-R's require premium gas, which costs more... in the end though, it's pennies worth of difference...

as far as the gas mileage is concerned...it depends on how u drive. when i had my VTEC lude i was hitting VTEC very often....with the LS i dont take it up that high any more all the time cause theres no reason to. consequently i get better gas mileage but i think that might be because the Teg has less displacement

hammer some curves with both, then come back with a review... as for premium gas its a lost argument... integra gas tank is 13.2 gallons, 87 octane is $.20 cheaper than 93 (at least here in CNY) do the math, you are only spending an extra $2.64 per tank...

This discussion again Lets see who the first to mention an LS is better to turbo is.:fawk:

I'll stick with my GSR, although I still kick myself for listening to my wife and not getting the ITR

:eek3: Your woman wanted you to get an ITR???

:keeper:

And it will always be as such: Type-R>GS-R>GS>LS>RS

Except when dragging only, and then the RS > GS/LS, cause it's like 50+ pounds lighter to start with

Oops..nope. She did not want me to get it. I had a choice between my car and a PY ITR...both brand new on the showroom floor. She couldn't understand why I wanted a car that cost more but did not have leather or a sunroof. We were trading in her car so I said OK.

Please feel free to slap me as you see fit. I still get pissed thinking about it. On the other hand though it would probably be stolen by now.

Phoenix Yellow

And I'm sure she woulda slapped you around a bit when she found out that the ITR doesn't even come with a spare tire...

Dunno 'bout women... tend to only care about practicality when criticizing a man's decisions :db:

Never had the chance to drive a GSR. Bought my LS a few weeks ago because it was $3k. Yeah, yeah, it's an automatic, but I needed a commuter car. Couldn't be happier. A co-worker I used to carpool with had a PY ITR but couldn't afford it any longer after a DUI. Is that sick or what? I might have given beer up for that car...the jackass who bought it after him smashed it two months later.
