I have the same problem. mine just broke last night. I bought the car used though....will that be a problem? I hope not cause I dont have much money....

Go ahead and go to the dealer.
I'm 99% sure that federal law requires them to at least have the parts available to repair those automatic seat belts. I'm less confident about the whole "free repair" part. h:

Worst case scenario, you can just get an estimate for the repair.

parts and labor will be free if it's "seatbelt related" but you'll probably have to pay for the diagnostic fee which is like 100 bucks at the dealership. i'm in the process of having my integra seatbelt fixed but the dealer is giving me a bunch of bull about the problem being in the door latch which is not part of the seatbelt system. so i called the acura customer relations to open up a case and they will be sending a case manager to see if the problem is covered under warranty.

WEll I took my car in last week and this upcoming tuesday I get all new seatbelt for FREE that's right FREE!!! the parts and labor would have cost me about $1500 that's alot of money for seatbelts...lol. I guess the motor and rails were bad..ouch glad I dont gotta pay for it well that's my good news..
