Your car would accelerate worse and you'd lose a LOT of torque that you would need.

Keep your engine, lose the auto, and turbo if you want to go quick

:eh: The b16b is the Civic Type R engine (I'm sure you know) and if I remember correctly it has 185 hp. I'm assuming it has a short geared tranny and lsd like the ITR so even though it has less torque I bet it would still out accelerate a b18b.

Still not worth it though unless you get a thuper deal on teh engine. h:

yeah, I agree that on the highway the b16b would out accelerate the b18b if in the same car. However, the complete lack of torque mated with an even heavier body just makes for a completely unwise decision to mate it with an integra shell.

Yeah if you're just toolin around town then you'd probably want the lower-end torque of the b18b but if you were a sTreET RaCEr you'd get mAd pRoPs for da Veetek and it's faster in the long run. But diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks I guess.
