What do you mean "i dont have a piston"?

Is it missing?

The caliper mounts to the "mounting bracket" using two 12 mm-head (8 mm bolt by 22 mm long, don't recall pitch) bolts. They screw into pins that float inside the upper and lower cavities of the mounting bracket. The pins are equiped with, I think, a 17mm hex head to assist in releasing the 12 mm bolts. Place an open-end wrench onto the 17 mm to hold it into place and release the 12 mm bolts with a shallow ratchet or a geared box wrench.

When the bolts are removed, the caliper should be released from the mounting bracket.

The bracket is bolted to the back of the knuckle using two 14 mm head bolts.

When you replace these, be sure that they are torqued to proper specification.

Ummmm - OK.

You know the piston is hollow, don't you? So what looks like an empty cylinder is really the inside of the piston.

Good insight, JimBlake. I didn't even think to describe the piston as being shaped like a short water glass.

Goog job.
