Those of us who are into these cars understand the level of investment necessary in owning one. There are indeed a few reliability issues with the cars in their stock form but most of the supposed "problems" that people have with them come from going the quick/cheap route with throwing a bunch of mods on the car.

If you drove anything other than the Track model, the ride is crappy because the stock wheels are insanely heavy. I've driven both Track and non-Track cars and even though the suspension tuning is identical the Track rides much better because it has very light wheels which don't bog down the shocks with a bunch of unsprung weight.

And most of the novice people do not. Hence, my point.

Technically they're Rays, not Volks. And I would switch em out if I wanted to to run some really wide meats.

I have thought about this long and hard. Definitely not the RSX, it looks like the bubble wrap my GSR came in.

M-3 is nice, but so many people drive Bimmers it would get lost in the crowd.

S-4 is allways in the shop and the 350Z & G35
has Nissan Quality.

I love the 911, but I cannot bring myself to drop 100 grand on any ride. So that leaves out the new Ford GT, Masarati, Austin Martin, most Mercedes.

The Evo VIII and WRX are out because of style issues, which leaves me with...

Smoothing out the dings and dents, OEM body kit, coil over kit, HID lighting, MP3 player amp and speakers, K&N Filter, cat back exhaust, machined heads in my GSR and save about 20 grand on a new car.

RSX Type R if it ever gets here.

M3 otherwise. I love that car, but can't really afford it right now.

I won't compromise though. If I can't get one of those, I will keep my GSR until I can. I love it and wouldn't replace it with anything less than one of those 2 cars.

If I can afford an S2000 then I'll get that. If I can't afford an S2000 I wouldn't mind picking up a nice little 2000 Prelude with low mileage.
