as most of you know, my car got keyed on every panel then 2 weeks later it got hit while i was in class. the insurance wants to total my car now. it needs to be repainted and the back passenger side quarter panel needs to be replaced and they want to total it. :madfawk: damn insurance. im not giving up my baby. :angry:

 

Who do you have insurance though?

 

Most of the time the insureance will let you "buy back" your car for salvage while still getting the insurance check minus about 500 to 1k, you will have a salvage title though but if you want any kind of insurance payment you have to let them take the car.

 

When my Integra was totaled, I got full insurance value ($3k something) minus about $350. Clean title.

Thats one lousy insurance... unless you've a G1 which I dont think its the case... good luck dealing with those bastids

 

G2's are totalled without thinking now, too. All mine needed was a few hundred worth of body parts, and a rad support welded in. They quoted it at almost $4k worth of damage, bastards.

I sold the car as-is for $910 and the rims for like $300. The guy who bought the car pretty much fixed it up for a few hundred worth of parts.
