Safe boost on jrsc?
Yup, ive been pushin 6psi on my JRSC for a while now...
I havent done any internal work to the motor and its been running fine. I was thinking about slappin an 8psi or 10psi pully on there. Has anybody personally pushed 8 - 10psi on there stock internals and have """NO""" problems?

What cams do you recommend?

low-mid 13's on 18in Racing Hart Wheels
AEM Brake upgrade...lowest i can go is 17s which kinda sucks.
Probably be able to take some time off if i had some drag radials and some 15s or some slicks

If you wanna lose some weight you could drop down to 17" SSR Comps. Those puppies are ~12.5 pounds.
Safe... 8 pounds is alright. 10 pounds starts getting very hot. I'd look into some water injection at the least before I went to 10 pounds.
Sleeves are a bonus because of the displacement bonus but not essential.

i got a stock 99 gs with a jrsc at 6 psi , original exhaust nothing else done to the car for performance. i also have the aem big brakes front and rear and i run 18" oz wheels with real crappy tires and the car has all the original stuff in nothing light weight or taken out . i went 15.56at 88mph with a 2.30 60 foot time, and i think that is no good, so i want to step up the boost and i borrowed a snow performance methanol injection kit to help cool things a bit, and i am looking for a header and then this thing better go somewhere in the 14 .what do you guys think?:naughty:
