Default Clutch or Tranny problem

I drive a 93 integra. Right now it is not running due to the fact that the shifter broke. The problem with it is that the clutch is not fully engaging even when it is pressed in all the way. But some times it will disengage like there is no problem and sometimes it is so bad that it is like I cannot find any gear and I have to turn the car off put it in 1st and then start it up and it will just even though the clutch is pressed in. Before all of this started happening every now and then the clutch would be very hard to press in. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this problem.

Does '93 have a cable clutch? If so, cable broken or really loose. If hydraulic, you've got air in there so you have to bleed it.

Otherwise, something in your clutch is dragging badly. A warped disk can do that. But maybe something in the pressure plate or the hub of the clutch disk has broken & it's getting stuck in there. That would prevent it from disengaging.

Pretty sure the G2 is a cable actuated, it may just need adjusting, take the slack out of the cable so to speak
