What cars come stock with HIDs? Whats the advantages between different HID bulbs, Ballasts? There are H4, D2S (i think i got this right), and other ones. What does it all mean? Does it show different brightnesses? Is there any advantages to having different HIDs over others?

Thats a load of crap, why is it illegal? It comes stock on a lot of cars.

 

I have had my HIDs for almost a year and have not had 1 single problem with them. And there have been numerous cops I have passed in town and they have seen them and I ahve not gotten pulled over once. It is illegal to sell them in the US but there is not a law that I know of that prevents you from putting them in your car.

 

Why is it illegal to sell them?
