hittin 110,000
I'm hitting 110,000 miles and my car is starting to run like shit i odn't know why...changed oild every 3000 miles, i haven't changed my timing belt since i bought the car and i bought it at 80,000 can this be the cause of power loss?:thinking: :upset:

Spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap/rotor, fuel filter, tranny fluid, and air filter. That stuff can usually lead to a crappy running car. I'd try the plugs first if I were you since they should be changed every 30k on the B18B1 anyways. You are going to want to check on that timing belt too. If it hasn't been changed yet you are running on borrowed time.
And check the valve clearance.

Reset your ECU----> remove your (+) pos. battery terminal for 1 hour.
Remove the plug in the MAP sensor it is located on the intake side near the throttle plate----> see if your car runs better. if it does then your injectors maybe dirty.
->Ever change your fuel filter?
->When you get you new wire set and plugs, insist on NGK as recommended in the owners manual. Many people get those so called high perfomance wires and plugs, they cause more problems and don't make more power.
Hopefully you don't get ripped off, many auto techs in the States do that.
