you had to have wired it wrong because the ecu that came with it is the correct one. and you might want to expand on everything, just telling the board the minimum information wont get you much help

my car has a obd2.b wiring harness the gsr swap came with an obd2.a ecu so it won't work the plugs are different.

The plugs are the same...the some of the wires are not.
