Hello? thanks for all the replies on my first post.
Now my question :is there anything I can do to reduce my car hopping(jumping) during lauch? My teg jumps like crazy, even my stereo frame falls off. Should I get engine new engine mounts?
Will LSD help? because when my friend launched my car my one wheel was spinning way faster than teh other one. I am so confused.
SO I bought 2 slicks. thos eprobably buy me 2 tenth of a second. then I'll be breaking 15s My best time was 16.12 @86mph with my street 14"

 

5 things that will help your launch -
LSD
Drag tires
Motor Mounts
Traction Bar (best off with jimfab.com)

-Practice - what are you launching at.

Those 4 things are in price order i believe - depends where you buy from ofcourse. LSD will help tremendously - make sure you decide what KIND tho ... there are 2 main types.

Since you have the tires and perhaps no money for the lsd - i would do traction bar then mounts.

 

Sounds to me like your stock motor mounts could be replaced with a firmer set.

 

You just need to learn to launch. There is no reason for slicks on a 16 second car. Even with the perfect setup, if you cant launch it wont matter.

I have crazy wheel hop too. I am going to get some poly inserts for my motor mounts.

I have an arospeed CAI, and front straut bar taht's it Sadly stock...

 

wheneveri race and am at the track i let some air off my tires so that it wont bounce. it helps out a little but dont forget to put the air back in.

 

Ive never had a proublem with wheel hop but i would also cheak out my motor mounts
