Default Anyone's door rattle?

My passenger side door, I guess the door panel rattles like crazy. It is so incredibly annoying. How can I fix it?

Also, while we're on the subject of fixing things, my antenna won't go down on my car, but the motor tries to move it and it also makes an embarrassing noise. Should I fix it or gut it?

More than likely its your lock mechanism (the linkages) bouncing around inside there.

Take off your door panel, wrap them in some cloth, and make sure they're snapped into all the appropriate snaps.

Mine do it too and it only gets worse the longer your cars lowered.
I've given up.

why does your car being lowered make the door rattling worse? also, if you lower your car, will your door eventually start rattling for sure? thanks!

For your antenna just pull out the plug in the back. It'll stop the radio from sending out the signal raise or lower it.

Some other ideas...

Make sure your door panel isn't loose. There are clips all around the edges, just make sure the door is secure.

Also, there are two-three small rubber stoppers on the door, try adjusting those outwards a small bit to get more of a secure close.

Zymol seal on the door seals might help if those have dried up and don't hold the door properly anymore.

Default Door rattle?

My thoughts are that it may be the window(s) rattling in their tracks, like mine do. You may want to check it out and see. Do your doors rattle when the windows are completely up?

the passenger window in my 4dr rattles like crazy when its 1/2way down. I believe there was a technical bulletin about that problem- you might want to ask your dealer. Ive heard that it is caused by a rubber bumper or stop that falls out. If you take off your door you should find laying on the bottom somewhere. good luck

OH if you only knew the times I took in my car to the dealer to fix the rattling window issue. each time i did the oil basically. I think these mofo's never even tried fixing it, just did not seem to care or they knew they couldn't do it with out spending many man hours and money fixing it. Thats embarrasing having a passanger (a chick) lower her window and you have to raise it back up and explain to her. Also guys see if you can manually lower (shift) the window up/down when its lowered a bit. I can move mine about 3 inches. POS windows!:madfawk:
