5th gen rattle in trunk when Rt door slammed
I know that this is a common problem on 5th gens but can't find the thread. When you slam the rt door, a rattle comes from the rt left trunk area. I know, don't slam the door, but this same noise happens when driving on rough pavement and it drives me crazy. Anyone know exactly what makes this noise? I don't want to spend an afternoon tearing my trunk apart.

could be the license plate/frame, also could be the jack and jack tools rattling around in there, my mom had the same problem in her 98, and it was the jack. look for things that could loosen and rattle, that should solve your problem.
