Default DRAG 3 TURBO for gs-r

im thinkin bout geting this turbo for my gs-r...my question is do ya think its a good turbo or not..also is it good to run this turbo on stock internals?..so far all i have is h/i/e and direct port nitrous..i only sprayed 2 bottles worth since i have gotten the nos system...but that wuz just testing..havent been abusin it. so do u think its still safe to run da turbo under my stock internals?..as u can see ima n00b at engine stuff so any help would b great...:dunno:

well the turbo its self is a great turbo the t3t4 hybrid...the setup is top notch as well..make sure u upgrade to the tial wastegate..as far as your engine setup your not going to be using your header or intake..and i would recomend cutting the nos use if u get the turbo....running stock boosts which seems to jump around between 8-10 will be fine on your stock internals...

the ball bearing upgrade will help reduce lag, so if you have the money go for it. but, if you ever need to rebuild the turbo, it will cost more. what you should do if you buying the turbo kit is sell the intake, header, and nitrous system then invest that money in Hondata, and a turbo timer(i'm not sure if hondata has one). that will make sure you dont run lean, and the turbo timer will help ward off the need for rebuilds.

drop compression if you plan on running over 10 psi of boost. otherwise its not totally needed.

ball bearing also help in reliability of the turbo...when the turbo isnt spooln the oil sits in the turbo no where to go with ball bearing the oil keep movin when turbo stops...helps the life of the turbo a lot!

check out turbonetics for ball bearing turbos...
