Honestly, on a daily driver do you really notice a differance between Koni($500 +) and Tokico Blue (($200+). I'm looking for the closest thing to a stock ride using either Eibach prokit or sportline or H&R Sports. I'm not racing or showing just want a comfortable ride with a clean look. Seriously there is a big price differance and how often do you really adjust your shocks. However I was thinking that it might benefit me in the winter to raise the car. But that poses another question, How low and high can you really raise them and is it easy or do I have to take things apart to do it?

If you think the Koni are worth it then should I go with the regular ones or neuspeed. Why?

Springs: I have had Prokits before and I liked them but I have noticed that a lot of people have H&R sports. I know the H&R drops a little lower but how is the ride compared to the Prokits. I'm not willing to give up a better ride for a 1/4 of an inch in drop.

hmmmm spring wise they all the same minus the spring ratings. i have sportlines with tokicos and am about to swap out the sportlines for either the ebiach pro kit, neuspeed pro or H&R pro. since the drop i have now is just too low and going stock isnt my thing. as for the adjustable shocks its only like a +/- .5" difference in most applications. changing back and forth wont really give you any real benifit. it just helps for lowering/raising the car down the line.

 

then stay with a pro kit (racing drop) not sport springs (show drop) also with adjustable shocks you have some control on the additional drop the aftermarket shocks will add to the total drop where as the regualar ones have a set drop (normally like .25-.5")

 

H&R and Neuspeed sports lower slightly more than Eibach. "Race" springs lower the car more than both.

I called up H&R abd I asked the guy there about an H&R sport/KYB AGX setup. He siad that if you get the wheel aligned, the you would not need a camber kit. Is there any truth. I am not getting any rims till next summer just the lude si rims and I am going to do some autocross. What do you guys think. Pro-kit or the H&R. This is of course a daily driver.

H&R Sports=1.5"F/1.2"R (Used to be 1.75"F/1.5"R, but they both look the same :dunno: )

Eibach Pro-Kit=1.5"F/1.5"R

Neuspeed Sport=1.8"F/1.7"R

Out of the above 3, the Neuspeed Sport is the only one that will need a rear camber kit.

As for choosing between the first two, H&R makes the better springs :thumbup:

 

Y in the hell do they keep on changing the height. Now H& R is 1.5 and 1.2 and pr-kit is 1.5/1.5 I thught prokit was 1.2 and 1.2 for 5th gen?

 

you're right. LX4CYL thought you meant 6th gen, which is 1.5.
