How do you greet someone in the hall?
So I have this problem:
I work in a lab thats part of a long hallway which connects many labs together. I frequently walk down this hallway to get to the elevators. There is this cute research professor who also walks the halls frequently.
Usually in the AM I see her for the first time and we exchange pleasantries while walking by; usually 'hello, how are you? I'm fine!'.
But then througout the day I continue to see her in the halls. Now mind you its a HUGE LONG fucking hallway and I can see her and she can see me well before earshot. What do you say when walking by? You can't exactly ignore them but you don't want to say hi again and you don't want to be weird.
Halp.
She's hot.
And I'll get kicked out if i snap a picture.
I may have Tarkd.

depends, if you pass her like 10 times a day then you cant really say hello ten times in a day.
the second time you see her just give her a smile. the third, fourth time think of something funny to say to her.

Happens to me all the time with the location of my office. A smile suffices. The smile changes depending on the person walking by. A polite smile for some, a friendlier smile for others, while a professional smile or nod is best for the rest.
