BigDaveS,
While the other poster's may feel that the aforementioned product is :ghey: , technically it doesn't make any sense.
Think about this. Auto manufacturers are doing all that they can to increase their CAFE numbers, to the extent that they are putting extra thin brake rotors on to reduce weight. Now, if there was something that they could do (and I assume that Honda etc have some of the best engineers working for them) for $70 or less on each car to increase the power by 30hp and the fuel efficiency by 30%, don't you think they would have done that already?
Just another snake oil vendor.

I like how the website says gains from 0-35hp. Good job covering your asses with that 0 guys.

As for the SpiralMax, just like the half-dozen other products like it on the market, it simply doesn't do what the manufacturers claim it will. Swirling airflow is all fine and good, but a glorified salad shooter blade placed at the air filter simply cannot produce such results.

Sorry qtiger, I just came from jdmcivic.com and they're a little bit slacker with the rules. Won't happen again.

We're pretty slack in general, but in the tech forums we like to keep it all neat and concise, like qt said.

I may come off a little harsh, but the real reason behind the policy is that on some forums (names withheld), someone asks a question such as "Is (insert part here) good?" And they're bombarded with a half dozen yes or no answers, 30 smileys, and some flaming on how stupid they are for not knowing the answer already.

That person hasn't learned anything other than not to buy the part, and not to ask questions.

But if someone responds with "Hey, don't buy that, it doesn't work because ..." then they've A) Learned not to buy the product, B) Learned WHY not to buy the product, and C) Will be able to figure out what other similar products they shouldn't buy. All because someone bothered to post a sentence rather than a smiley or a couple words.

That is how we try to work here. You don't have to be a technical genius or a professional writer, and it isn't the end of the world if you say something wrong. We just want people to learn rather than hop on the 'This is good, that is bad' bandwagon. Sorry for not posting a more complete comment before, but I was on my way to dinner.
