Default Forced ITB and Setup Questions

Well I've looked this up a bunch but i get random responses in bits all over the place. SO, i just need to know some things.

I have a 00' Civic Si with a B16A2 OR B18C1 (still deciding the swap but for this question it shouldnt matter due to the identical engine blocks) and was wondering some info on a BOOSTED B with ITB's.

What is a super-rough guesstimate on the price, starting from the engine stock to boosted with an ITB setup alone cost. I have plenty of money for this, and want a semi-sleeper EK with good boost and high throttle response.

Also, would this create a significant increase in power, I'm looking for a good 300-320 horses roughly, while keeping it at an impressive acceleration rate. And how is this acieved, aren't the throttle bodies all open? I don't understand how you can force air into an open pipe, unless it is mounted directly to the TB's?

Lastly, does anyone have any images of this setup, even on ANY engine as I'm curious about going down the
"Slight-NA, Boosted, ITB, Sleeper" route

*As a side question, how is it that some people claim to get 40+ MPG on a boosted setup?*

ANY info/input would be sweet, but if you object to any of my ideas, let me know without being an ass, I'm here to learn

How much money do you have? Cuz ITBs and FI is a costly setup for a Daily Ddriver...

You really need to reconsider some things...Because this is going to be expensive... not just in tuning but parts alone...

Other than that, good tuning will get you great gas milage WCS had like 30-35mpg on his 300+ B18C Turbo - Powered 4 Door Civic

Do more research, pick a route N/A or Turbo...

If you have all this money to spend on your civic I suggest you look into a K24/K20 R swap, 12s is a guarantee "stock" with that setup...

It would be a bitch to tune. You can easily make your hp goal with a smaller, quick spooling turbo that will pull until redline.

Tony the Tiger on honda-tech has a boosted ITB setup. The ITBs on a boosted setup have to have a airtight box that functions as a manifold.

Personally, it is a retarded idea. If you are doing it to be unique, it has been done. If you are doing it for reliable power, it won't happen. A cheaper conventional turbo setup will give you what you want.

I agree with the other two guys, it seems like trying to the optimum setup for ITB's and for FI are at odds with each other.

The gains you'll make with ITBS on FI aren't worth the price, imho.
