What Next Need Some Help
ok i have a b16a in my 94 civic dx. i have a 4-1 header full apexi world sport exhaust, and i cold air intake. what should i do next i really dont want to get into the motor to much. I was thinking about maybe ctrs or itrs for cams but i really dont want to do valve springs b/c i dont want to pull the head. maybe a skunk2 intake. what do u guys think i would love just to have it get into the 14's. i have someone to tune the car just need to get some stuff done to it. thanks for the help
You won't have to switch out springs for the CTRs as long as the stock redline is maintained. I have had CTRs in mine with stock springs revving to 8200 for over 4 months. If you want to put in valve springs, snap on makes a tool that I can give you the part number for that will make removing the springs with the head on the car possible. It runs around $120 from snap-on.
Some better cams along with a freely flowing intake manifold and a good tune could easily get you into the 14's.

Hell yeah, I felt a difference. But mainly because I am boosted, installed a Skunk2 manifold the same day, and fully street tuned it. There will be a difference for sure (especially with a better flowing intake manifold like the Skunk2 you are looking at and a VAFC) and it should get you where you want to be 1/4 mile time wise.
