Remove the negative terminal from your battery for 10 seconds, this should reset the ECU. IF you have the stock radio though you will need the radio code to reactivate it.

putting an intake on wouldnt cause a check engine light to come on. Try re-setting your ecu and see if it still comes on.

If you possibly unplugged the MAP sensor or even pulled a wire out of the connector then yes, it could. If one day everything is fine, you change something, and then it's not. 99% of the time whatever you did caused the problem. I'd retrace my steps and ensure that what you did didn't have an effect on it. Resetting the ECU will not magically solve the problem. The code will go away if you fix it.

Check the wiring. Go over the steps you took putting the intake on and see if anything's up with the MAP sensor. That's not a sensor you just want to have messed up. The MAP sensor is what reports to the ECU regarding your the pressure inside your intake as opposed to the pressure outside. The ECU reacts to this sensor by updating fuel/timing maps. If the MAP sensor isn't reading correctly, your ECU isn't dynamically tuning the engine correctly resulting in poor performance and gas mileage. It needs to be fixed.

Wow, this is a thread full of horrible information and advice. Again, please keep your questions regarding the same problem in one thread. Don't create multiple (now 3) about the exact same problem.
