Search.

You get what you pay for and a clutch is not something I would recommend going cheap on.

Why do you need a stronger clutch than stock?

exedy clutches are supposed to be good for slighty modified daily drivers, relatively cheap but cant handle too much power from what i understand.

i was about to get a new flywheel/clutch but ish happened and i became broke...and since its xmas im broke once again.

I been told act is the best but my mechanic's buddy has his own parts web site said the exedy is doing real good at the track and exedy just started making clutches for the small boys. Its a good clutch but if your car is old having your clutch changed might be the end of your tranny. I'm lookin for tranny now b/c of that. Atleast so i've been told.

The tranny will not be affected by changing the clutch. If anything, it will shift better because a worn clutch will cause all sorts of grinding.

ACT makes some of the best clutches out there, but they are expensive.

^^ i had the same problem, the reason nobody ever sees it is because u slow down and think about ur shifting...do the same thing when your driving and the grinding will dissapear

It may have something to do with the pedal adjustment. The clutch may not be completely disengaging when you are shifting, so it may cause some grinding. Also, check the fluid and bleed if necessary.

I have the ACT clutch and the pedal is a little firmer, but I have no grinding on the original tranny.
