Its a good clutch but if your car is old having your clutch changed might be the end of your tranny. I'm lookin for tranny now b/c of that. Atleast so i've been told.
The tranny will not be affected by changing the clutch. If anything, it will shift better because a worn clutch will cause all sorts of grinding.
ACT makes some of the best clutches out there, but they are expensive.
