what parts of the b18c5 give it more power than the b18c1?

what parts of the b18c5 give it more power than the b18c1?
I know that the b18c5 is much better than the b18c1, but why? Does it have more agressive cams, port/polish, or higher c/r? Can you buy the c5 parts and put them in a c1? would that be cheaper than buying the c5?-just wondering?
