Default Garrett GT28R or Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid?

Garrett GT28R or Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid? which one should I get for my 2000 Honda Civic EX. My goal is to acheive around 250-300WHP with NO2 if needed.

Has anyone used these turbos and can give me an idea of their power bands and ne other pros and cons about each one. ne of that sort of help will be appreciated thanks.

I hope you are planning on rebuilding or swapping to get that kind of power.

I have heard nothing but great things about both turbos so either one is a good choice. I haven't heard much about the GT28R but the T3/T4 is a great combination because of its quick spool and solid power gains.

GT28R will spool quicker and make your goal a little harder to reach on a d series. It would be a good fun turbo for the street though. The t3/t4 depending on trim and such will generally spool slower but will make higher numbers. Making your goal easier to reach. IMO your goal should focus on track times compared to power.

gt28r's can be at full boost by about 3000-3500rpms. The standard t3/t04e is about 4000rpm for full boost.

i'd rather take the t3/t4 because with that engine you want to take advantage of the higher rev power and you dont watn the turbo dropping off...

How would the Precision GT30R compare to the other two turbos mentioned?

Simliar characterisitics to a t3/to4e. Spool time about the same but you can run a larger A/R side and not compromise any lag. Its a better built t3/to4 and even better when ball bearing. A little overkill on low boost stock internal d series.
